Have a great day!

Flower Power for Mothers Day!

Have you treated your mum to a little pampering? Then pop to Lush and pick up one of these super sweet Flower 'Mums bath ballistics. I love the fact they've used one of those green garden sticks for the stem, wicked design idea!
You can take your pick from three scents, I have the Vanilla Fountain one which smells yum. Lush describe this as vanilla fudge and cinder toffee scented, see I told you this smells amazing!

♥ £3.60 ♥

There's another 2 scents you can pick from Avobath and Space Girl, Avobath is a lovely fresh green colour and smells of Avocados and Lemongrass. Whilst Space Girl is a lovely pastel lilac and smells of Blackcurrant fruit pastilles, sounds great right? Well even better they all have popping candy in the centre of the flower which is so retro, LOVE IT ♥

I think this is well worth £3.60, you are getting a HUGE bath ballistic I wanted to show you how thick the flower head is. The little tag is even shaped like a leaf and you can plant it, every eco friendly.

Loving a quick & natural FOTD

I'm so limited in the mornings and have to get ready quickly especially with 2 little ones to entertain!

So my latest FOTD which I have been wearing lately has been quick and simple but still looks like I made an effort. The only thing missing which I think I will add tomorrow is a touch of bronzer.

♥ Clarins Skin Illusion (Sand) ♥
♥ Dirty Works Concealer ♥
♥ Witch Translucent Powder ♥
♥ Elf Studio Blush (Candid Coral) ♥
♥ Nars Single Shadow (Nepal) ♥
♥ Clinique Bottom Lash (Brown/Black) ♥
♥ Miss Sporty Pump Up Lash Mascara (Black) ♥
♥ Rouge & Figs Lip Balm♥
♥ Elf Mineral Lipstick (RunwayPink) ♥

Hey presto...
This takes me 10 mins in the morning sometimes quicker if I don't mess up my top mascara!

I have to admit I do love the Elf mineral lipstick now, and think I will buying another Runway Pink as it's such a pretty nude/pink colour!

Are you limited for time in the morning? How do you make the best of 10mins?

Cliniques New Chubby Stick Moisturizing Lip Colour Balm

Following on from my post about Cliniques New Chubby Sticks I wanted to share with you some product photos and swatches! These are super cute in person, I love their childlike persona.
After using these for a few days I love them both colour wise, Super Strawberry enhances the natural pink in my lips whilst hydrating and giving them a lusious shine. Whilst Whole Lotta Honey gives my lips a stunning warm nude colour.

I'm very impressed with the design of these, whilst they look like chubby little crayons there's no need to reach for your pencil sharpners! Clinique have designed these little cuties whith a retractable end which allows you to reveal more chubbiness when needed. Thumbs up Clinique, we likey likey that design feature.

Here's some extra pics so you can see what they look like on...

Super Strawberry

Whole Lotta Honey

There are another six shades you can pick from, I love the look of Mega Melon & Whoppin Watermelon.

♥ Graped Up ♥ Mega Melon ♥ Whoppin Watermelon ♥
♥ Richer Raisin ♥ Chunky Cherry ♥ Fuller Fig ♥

Would you like to be a Bronzed Goddess?

Would you like to be a bronzed goddess this summer? I know I would, well take a look at the stunning model shot from Estee Lauders New Bronze Goddess collection. Due to hit counters nationwide from the 2nd May.

Ok I know the model has been air brushed, but for me the facial makeup is everything I ♥ about summer, a bronzed glow and a splash of colour.

Estee Lauder say-

This summer, let Estée Lauder transport you to the Mediterranean with the latest seductive Bronze Goddess collection of makeup. Inspired by the hues and atmosphere of luxurious resorts on the Riviera, the collection invites you to sit poolside and take in the cool waters, warm sand beaches and sun’s luminous rays. Experience the casual luxury and seductive spirit of a goddess with shades that sparkle, shimmer and shine for eyes, lips and nails, while face and décolletage are transformed into golden, glowing perfection.

When I saw the collection I fell in love with the beautiful Bronze Goddess Sea Star Bronzing Blush compact, I mean come on ladies what's not to love. This looks like a work of art, a delicate starfish blush is resting on a shimmering bronzer which is textured like ripples of sand. The combination of blush and bronzer is meant to give you a natural radiant smooth sun-kissed finish. Yes Please ♥
♥ £29 12g ♥

The next product from the collection has been inspired by the sea and sand, the beautiful Bronze Goddess Island Oasis Eye Shadow Palette contains six enchanting shades. These can be used for day and then transformed for an evening look. The palette is Limited edition so if this catches your eye then I suggest you camp outside your counter as I predict this collection selling out fast!
Shades of copper, bronze, gold and coral with contrasting cooler shades of turquoise, seashell pink, silver and seaweed.
♥ £31 ♥

Accompanying the palette there will be 2 Bronze Goddess ShadowStick Duos, in the shades Gold Bronze and Pink Teal. These are water resistant and have a longwearing formula which is a bonus, we don't fancy melting eyes do we?

There are three dazzling Pure Color glosses in the shades Blazing Coral Sparkle, Plum Divine shimmer and a new limited edition Sun Burst Sparkle. These look so sparkly and pretty, I would be drawn to Blazing Coral Sparkle & Sun Burst Sparkle. The names are so alluring I mean Sun Burst Sparkle sounds lush!

Bold lashes are evident on the catwalks and are a must to finish off the bronzed goddess look. Estee Lauder have a NEW waterproof mascara called Sumptuous Waterproof Bold Volume available in black and brown.

♥ ShadowStick Duos £17 ♥
♥ Pure Color Gloss £15.50 ♥
♥ Mascara £19 ♥
♥ Nail Lacquer £14 ♥

To ensure you have completed your Bronze Goddess look top to toe there is also a limited edition Nail Lacquer in the shade Shimmering Bronze and a new limited edition Bronze Goddess Soleil Fragrance.

Chloe Rose

As you are probably all aware I'm a perfume addict! I adore perfume so much and find each perfume so interesting, down to the bottle, the scent, the notes and all the hard work which has gone into producing the perfume.

There's no surprise to find that I have fallen in love with Chloe Rose which is limited edition *sob* pass the tissues ladies! The bottle alone is stunning, for me the the vibrant hot pink ribbon sets this bottle apart, if this was on a counter of perfumes I know I would be drawn to this.

A bouquet of roses with a velvety heart interlacing floral notes of magnolia and lily of the valley, enhanced with honeyed accents of amber and cedar wood.

Heart Notes
Rose

Top Notes
Lychee

Base Notes
Honey

If you are a floral, rose devotee then I suggest you have a spray of this next time you are at The Perfume Shop.

Chloe Rose is an EDP so will last longer on the skin than your normal EDT, because this is Limited Edition this is only available in a 50ml and retails £51.50.

Have you tried this pretty perfume?

Get Dirty with Lush

Todays review is courtesy of my lovely husband, he has been trying out some products from Lush's new range DIRTY.

Dirty Toothy Tabs are solid toothpaste tabs, at first I thought they were mints but soon realised they weren't when I read the back. After following the instructions on the back I popped one in my mouth which I crushed between my teeth as suggested, then began brushing my teeth and it tasted unpleasant. For me the soap taste was too overpowering and the taste of Spearmint was very subtle. If this was the other way round I think I would get on better using them.

£2.00 9g

Next up is Dirty Hair Styling Cream the texture is just right nice and creamy unlike a wax which can linger on your hands for a while and also is a pain to wash out. This is easy to apply doesn't leave my hands greasy and doesn't feel caked in my hair. The scent is a bonus, you can smell it all day and doesn't fade. I recently had my hair cut shorter and found it good for both longer and shorter styles. My only critism would be that at the end of the day when the product has dried in it leaves my hair feeling thick and dirty and so I have to wash it out of my hair before going bed rather than just rinsing my hair. Overall this is a good product and I'm still getting lots of use out of it.

£5.95 100g

Without Styling Cream With Styling Cream

Next up is my favourite product out of the range and thats the Dirty Shower gel it covers really well without lathering up loads. A small amount goes a long way, it almost feels like it leaves a layer of moisture on the skin. My skin feels soft and not dry like some shower gels, the scent is nice and fresh which is great for first thing in the morning. The colour of the shower gel is really smart.

£8.50 250g

Thanks to my lovely hubby for this post, if you fancy treating the man in your life then try out the New DIRTY range at your local store or pop online.

These items where sent by PR which in no way affects my opinion, this is an honest review based on my own personal thoughts.

Do you have a spring in your step?

Have you embraced the Spring? Has your makeup look changed to suit the season?

I love the spring and summer make up looks, fresh, dewy skin, bronzed skin, wide eyes, blushed cheeks and shinny pretty lips!
Beauty Bay is currently the largest online store which stocks a vast amount of brands.

For summer there are 3 key areas to focus on for the summer look, the face, cheeks and lips are all key, the eyes are bright and wide with a lashings of mascara.

The products which drew my attention the most was the stunning Too Faced Peach Leopard Bronzer. Just looking at the compact is satisying enough for me ha ha! This is a twist on the popular Pink Leopard print bronzer, anything which says the word Peach grabs my attention. With shimmery hues of peach and a matte chocolate bronzer give you a radiant look which is perfect for the summer!

For the cheeks I thought the Stila Convertible Colour compacts looked bright and refreshing, they come in a range of shades, the colours Gerbera, Petunia and Fuchsia catch my eye. I love using cream blushes on the cheeks in the summer such a nice change.

Finally for the lips, I thought the Lip Gloss Quads by Cargo looked perfect, you can totally change your look depending on your lip colour. You could carry these around with you use a colour for the day and then if you fancy popping out after work for a few drinks then use another colour to change your look!

Has anyone tried any of these products? I would love to know what you think, these would be the summer products which I would love to create a look with. What products are you using to create your summer look?

I'm in love with Lilac Dream & Seche Vite...NOTD

Evening lovelies, I hope the sun has been shining for you today!

This is just a quick NOTD for you, I've been wearing the stunning Lilac Dream by Models Own all week and love it. I was lucky to win this 7 Models Own nail file which is brill, from the lovely Steph from Beauty Rambles. Lilac Dream is the perfect shade for the spring, I even have matching tootsies. Another nail product which I recently fell in love with is the very popular Seche Vite. This is by far the best ever top coat I have EVER tried. I can 100% honestly say I will never buy another top coat this is the best ever. I love how quick it dries and it doesn't feel tacky on your nails and leaves such a glossy finish ♥ This is worth every penny ♥

Latest buys.. E.l.f Haul

A while back e.l.f had free delivery so I jumped at the chance to finally try some products which I've wanted for a while but are always out of stock when I want to buy them. Luckily they were in stock and this is what I bought. I picked up the Stipple Brush after asking you lovelies which other brushes you would recommend.

♥ Blush & Bronzer Compact ♥
£3.50
♥ Candid Coral & Berry Merry ♥
£3.50
♥ Runway Pink Lipstick ♥
£3.50
♥ Stipple Brush ♥
£3.50

I must admit I'm very happy with all of them except the stipple brush, the image photo on the E.l.f site looks different from the actual brush I got. I've put the link in so you can see for yourselves, maybe it's just me being picky? The brush head on my one is flared out and not tapered and rounded like the one on the site, does anyone else have the Studio stipple brush?

The two blushes I bought are from the studio range, love the compact mirror inside so handy!
I decided on Berry Merry after seeing on Temptalias blog this is a dupe for Nars Sin, I first saw swatches of Nars Sin over on the lovely Stines blog Chic Beauty . After popping back over and looking at them both I think it looks nothing like Sin. Oh well worth a try hey?

Berry merry is still a lovely blush which is mauvey in tone with very fine gold shimmer running through it and I'm still happy to welcome this blush in my collection and for £3.50 who am I to complain?
Candid Coral is truly stunning a beautiful coral with gold shimmering which is not to heavy on the face giving a very natural glow, this has been a firm fav of mine recently LOVE IT! I really want to get more of these blushes if anyone can recommend other shades please let me know.

I've wanted to try the Mineral Lipsticks for some time now and decided on Runway Pink after reading and seeing swatches of this on various blogs.

The packaging isn't anything glamorous but I'm willing to look beyond that if the product is amazing, the colour is perfect for me but sadly I'm not to keen on the texture and how it feels on the lips. It just feels cheap, maybe because I've been wearing more expensive lipsticks lately that after using this on the lips it just desn't feel as nice. However I think I have to remember the price differences, this is only £3.50 so for that price I think I will give it some more loving and see what I think. I love the shade and I wore it today actually and it looked so pretty I will have to do a FOTD. There are heaps of shades, does anyone have these? Which shades do you have?

This has to be the one product which I have wanted to try for a year or so now but haven't ever got round to ordering it or if I have it's been out of stock! This has been compared to the Laguna/Orgasm Bronzing Blush Duo and sadly whilst I don't have the Nars version here I can happily say I'm happy with the shade and finish of the compact. The bronze is a little dark for me at the mo but if I blend gently enough or use this with self tan then it's fine. The blush is gorgeous and for £3.50 I can see me picking up another just for a back up!

Which E.l.f products are your favs? Thanks for reading ♥

Boots Smooth Skin by iPulse

Summer is fast approaching us and so soon we will all be pruning and preening ourselves. So when I was asked if I would like to try a permanent hair removal system I jumped at the chance! I'm a total whimp it it comes to hair removal and waxing is a no no, I remember going for a bikini wax and when the therapist applied the wax and then the strip I kept flinching and wouldn't let her pull it off! So funny it took me all the will power in the world to let her pull it off. Other than waxing I have used Veet for a few years on and off but mainly shave. I have always said that having hair in unwanted places is such a pain and wish that it would go away, well now fingers crossed it will!

Think about how much you spend on hair removal each year and the ongoing costs year after year, whereas you would be much better off investing in the Boots Smooth Skin hair removal system enjoying this in the comfort of your own home. You need to use the system for 6-12 weeks to complete the treatment and therefore hopefully achieve permanent hair reduction.

Boots say-
Boots Smooth Skin gives permanent hair reduction in just 6-12 weeks, it is an easy to use hair removal solution at home. For use on body and face, it is great value when compared with everyday and salon hair removal

I must admit I was a little scared at first especially when I read the handbook and read all the important information. However I have braved it and started my treatment earlier on in the week.
The system is really neat and quite compact comparing to the size of the machines you would find at a salon. I like how the system is stored, neat and tidy in a cream vanity case with a thick sturdy handle. The unit is simple and easy to use, once you have connected the handset to the main unit and plugged in you are ready to go. Turn on and once the unit is ready the light pops on Standby, you need to select your skin tone Dark/Med/Fair.

You need to do a patch test first to make sure you don't react to the system.Once the unit is ready apply some of the Activitor gel to the area and then placing the head of the handset on the skin you need to make sure the four pins touch the skin and then a red light pops on the handset. I was really hesitant so my hubby helped and did the zapping! Once you press the button a bright light flashed and then it was all over, pain free and simple. I waited the 48hrs to make sure there was no reaction, luckily everything was fine.

Ok now onto the cost which I know by now you are all wanting to know this is an investement don't forget which you can use at your own time. The system costs £331.90 BUT is on offer for £281.90. So you do the Maths because we all go to the salon for different waxing needs just mutiply how you much you use over the year and think this is at home always!

I will take photos showing you my progress using the system, if any of you have any questions then please leave a comment and I will answer as best I can.

Has anyone tried this? What are your thoughts?

Cliniques New Chubby Stick Moisturizing Lip Colour Balm

When I saw these images I was intrigued straight away to know more, they look so cute and fun. They remind me of childrens chubby crayons so if you have little ones I would be careful not to leave these around!

Clinique New Bottom Lash Mascara.

I was so excited to try this New talked about mascara, I've read and seen some great reviews on Cliniques New Bottom lash Mascara so when I had the chance to try it I was a thrilled.

♥ £10.00 2.5ml ♥

Clinique have come up with such a great design the brush is very small but believe me size isn't everything! Long are the days where you smudge or catch a little mascara underneath your lower lashes. I must admit I'm a little clumsy when it comes to applying mascara so this is a life saver for me. I have the colour Black/Brown but this also comes in Black, for me the Black/Brown is very natural and suits my lashes and colouring fine. I was so impressed how well the little micro brush worked coating each lash individually. The look is amazing my eyes look so wide and fresh. This costs £10 which when you think how much you need to coat your bottom lashes this should last you normal 3 months which most mascaras last, so £10 is a great price!

Clinique say-
Exclusive to Clinique, NEW Bottom Lash Mascara micro-mini brush is one of the smallest on the market with the biggest job of enhancing smaller, more delicate lower lashes. The unique precision applicator perfectly defines bottom lashes to create a naturally wide-eyed, lash look. Housed in a beautifully designed silver floral patterned barrel, its miniature size makes it the perfect portable partner to any Clinique mascara.

Clinique advise anyone with small lashes to hold the brush tip vertically and wiggle through the lashes then hold normally to even out for a perfect application.

Have you tried Cliniques New Bottom Lash Mascara? What are your thoughts? If not then I recommend you stop by your local Clinique counter to have a play ♥
