Racoon Clix 'n' Go Raunchy Red

This was a first for me clip-in extensions, so when I was asked if I would like to try these I said 'Yes' of course.
I was sent a 16" flash pack which contains 2 flashes in the shade Raunchy Red which is such a bright vibrant red and certainly would stand out on anyones hair!

The shade is really bright and great for a change, however for me I don't think I would be daring enough to wear this out. I would wear either Fiery Fox or Cheeky Chocolate which are natural colours.
Their are a variety of Funky shades and natural shades to pick from as you can see from the back of the pack.

The extensions come in 16" which is just a little bit longer than shoulder length and then 20" for that bit longer. You can use curling tongs and straighteners on them but not above 170'c

I was suprised how easy these are to use, they have their own simple step by step instructions in the pack but to be honest it's so easy you would probably know how to use these.

Here are some photos of them in my hair, I had a nice play with them and tried different looks. I re-postioned them in my hair to see what they would look like and still was not convinced on the colour for me BUT if you are brave and would like a change then these would be great!

When i see this bright colours I always think of Katy Perry so if you like her bright locks then these would be fab, maybe a rainbow of colours? That would look funky?

Packs come in full sets or flash packs – all are available in 16” lengths. Full instructions come with each pack so you can design your own look. Prices start from £7.49 for the Next to Natural Hair Flashes and £39.99 for Next to Natural Hair full sets. 100% Human Hair Flash packs are available at just £9.99. Stockists www.luvhair.com

Liz Earle Brightening Treatment Mask

I don't know about you but my skin plays havoc this time of year. It gets dry, flaky and dull looking. It seems the winter draws out all my moisture and so I have to pay extra attention to look after my skin. Liz Earle have a Brightening Face Mask which contains camphor oil and toning witch hazel which gives the skin an extra jet of 'Umph' so to speak! These ingredients amongst others are just what tired dull looking skin needs.

This mask is very easy to apply like the majority of masks you must be careful and not apply to your eye & lip area. The mask is suggested that sensitive skins give this one a miss as the mask gives the skin a slight 'tingling sensation' which is perfectly fine but not for the sensitive skin types. I would suggest you opt for their Intensive Nourishing Treatment Mask.

I have to say I enjoyed the slight tingling sensation and it didn't last long, this is great as a quick pick me up. My skin literally drank the mask and I left this on for 2 minutes and then used the muslin cloth as suggested with hand-hot water to clean away the mask.

The mask comes available as a starter kit £12.75 which is what I was kindly sent. This includes a handy zip bag, 50ml Brightening Treatment Mask and a muslin cloth. The starter kit is great for storing your mask and muslin cloth in for travelling. This would also make a great christmas present or stocking filler.

You can buy the treatment mask on its own as a 50ml and this retails at £12 however for an extra 75p you can get a muslin cloth and storage pouch which is well worth it. If your unsure about the mask you could always try the smaller sample size 15ml £4.75

What is your skin like in the winter? How to you keep it looking healthy and radiant? Please share I would love some tips!

Strawberry Shortcake anyone??

Yummm what a delicious title for a post!
Recently I reviewed the Denman Tangle Teaser, incase you missed that post you can catch up
here.

£7.16

Today I am reviewing a brush from their Fragranced Range I mentioned their Strawberry Shortcake brush in my recent review and luckily this sort after brush is back in stock! So hurry I have a feeling it will be sold out again soon.

The detailing on the back of the brush is a super sweet trail of strawberries, as well as three on the front of the handle.

This is a classic style brush which is a twist of their D3 which is a medium styling brush with 7 rows of nylon pins. It has the same classic red pad which works so well with the strawberry design.

Deman say-
Fun and exciting adaptation of the D3 Classic Styling Brush with bright red pad, fruit prints and a strawberry fragrance. The perfect partner for blow-drying, smoothing and shaping the hair.

If Strawberry isn't your scent then not to worry because they have another 4 scents you can pick from such as Lemon Sherbet, Green Apple, Wild Dewberry & Coconut. They ALL sound amazing right? This would be a perfect stocking filler for someone, the price is great you won't be dissapointed.

The scent is lovely and brushing my hair is pleasure using this hair brush. I love the feel of the pins/bristles. Unlike some hair brushes they can sometimes feel scratchy if that makes sense whereas Denman have good quality pins and it almost feels like a mini head massage it's that good! I have been missing out so much...but not from now on. This is my Holy Grail hair brush and not forgetting the Tangle Teaser which is brilliant for the whole family.

BareFaced Beauty Review

BareFaced Beauty is a UK based mineral makeup company. They have a range of mineral products such as their award winning mineral foundation which is available in 14 shades which costs £12 (3-4 months supply).

They also have a range of brushes, lipglosses, mineral bronzers, eyeshadows and blushers.

Today I will be reviewing 2 of their mineral eyeshadows, a lipgloss and their Pump Actioned Dispensing brush which is so exciting! This brush is currently featured in the latest copy of Vogue ( Dec ) so this is majorly hot right now!
The brush is a handy size and is great for carrying around with you to touch up your make-up. Especially if you're leaving work to attend christmas parties then this is a must. The brush is super soft and not at all what I expected, made with 100% synthetic bristles.

The brush measures 16.5cm long and 2.4cm in diameter and costs £14.00. You can fill the brush with your foundation, bronzer or blusher. I have filled mine with a mineral foundation and have been carrying this around with me and with a small press of the button I can refresh my foundation with a light application of product. It is a little fiddly to begin with, I used a small teaspoon to fill my brush up but it's well worth it.

I think once my foundation is used up I will fill this with a shimmer dusting powder because I can use it for my face but also for my body which would great for the festive season!

I had so much fun experimenting with these shimmery eyeshadows, Tigers Eye and Blue Moonstone. I used Blue Moonstone all over my lid and then applied Tigers eye softly in the socket adding depth.

I then experimented with Tigers Eye and tapped some powder into the lid and with an eyeliner brush and a drop of water I made an eyeliner.

£6.00 (1.5g)

The eyeshadow looks so different from the wet liner when seen on the eye but when you see the swatches they look the same.

Lipglosses for me really finish off a look especially if your going out for the evening. During the day I often wear a gloss for an instant perk me up. For the evening applying a gloss over the top of your lipstick not only brightens the lip area but also helps your lipstick last longer. It's all about layering. When I was sent one of their natural lipglosses in Juicy Peach I was a happy chappy. Peach and nudes are my favourite shades.

£8.00

There are another six shades to choose from, they are so pretty and sparkly and not too sticky which is a bonus.

Here is a pic showing you my FOTD using the brush with my normal foundation in, the 2 eyeshadows and the Juicy Peach natural lipgloss.

If your stuck for christmas ideas then check out their christmas kits for inspiration here.

Eyeko & NOTD

Morning my lovely followers :)

Today is a quick post showing my recent goodies from Eyeko aswell as my NOTD. I'm hoping to do more of these as they are so quick and simple to do and I always love seeing nail colours.

I just LOVE the packaging! So querky and different and fun!

When I saw Vintage I loved it, I don't have anything like this in my nail polish collection so this was new and exciting for me! I used 2 coats as normal but sadly on one of my nails the colour looked a little washy and to be honest and could've done with a 3rd coat. Overall the colour pay off is lovely, the brush and bottle are different from anything I have tried in the past and I like it.

Vintage £3.50

I was lucky enough as an Eyeko Ambassador to recieve a free Fat Balm of your choice when I made a purchase, so I picked Toffee and LOVE it! The balms are LE, but I'm not sure till when but if you like the look of them then I would pick up one or two or all six of them. The colour is perfect for the cheeks and lips. The smell is better than expected, I really thought the smell was going to be too much or over powering seeings it is Toffee. However you just get a nice hint of the scent just right. Just don't eat it!

Fat Balm £6.00

This is such a pretty colour with a nice sheen, great as a highlighter! Eyeko describe this so much better so here is what they say-

Slicks of juicy colour, infused with light reflecting particles, moisturising Jojoba oil and added SPF15 make for fuller, softer, sexier lips. Add a hint of colour and shine as you protect and hydrate your kisser! Dab on to cheeks to for a touch of blush. Mineral oil and lanolin FREE!

Lastly is one of their NEW! London Lips in Soho.

For making my first order as an Eyeko Ambassador I recieved my Ambassador pack which contained a free product... London Lips Soho. I must be honest and say this is a colour which I would normally shy away from. However after being sent this I have a few ideas to jazz up some old lip colours with this shade.

Eyeko has a special offer of the week every week funnily enough ha ha! So this weeks special offer is with every £15 purchase you recieve a free Liquid Glitter eyeliner when you enter GLITTER in the special comments box.

Don't forget to enter my special Ambassadors code E10760 when you spend £15 you recieve a FREE GIFT :) Happy Days

I popped into Topshop over the weekend and was lucky to pick up these little great finds! All for £6!! I couldn't believe it.

Priced £2 but got to till and it was down to £1

£3 and worth very penny! I love wearing this with my mink/mauve top pictured above. These looks nice with most tops though, and have had a few comments on it!

Priced £2, I love Owls or anything with a bird on so was lucky to find this hanging all on its own in the non-sale section. Someone must have left it there, thank you whoever you are!
